Privacy Policy

ReelTake is a video tool for creators. You record or upload a take, and ReelTake cuts the retakes and filler, groups your scenes to approve, and can generate a believable before/after from your own footage. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it, in plain language.

Account information, which is your email and basic profile details.

The videos you record or upload, and the transcript and edit data ReelTake creates from them so it can cut and edit your take.

Usage and billing data needed to run the product, keep your account, and process your subscription.

We use your data to run the features you ask for, to operate your account and billing, and to improve the product. We do not sell your videos or your transcripts, and we do not use your footage to train models for anyone else.

To cut your take, ReelTake sends your audio to a transcription provider to turn speech into word-level timestamps. To generate a before/after on Pro, ReelTake sends your footage to a video AI provider. In both cases the data is used only to produce the output you asked for, and only when you start that action.

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and ReelTake never stores your full card number.

You keep your clips and your exports. You can request deletion of your account, your uploaded footage, and the data derived from it at any time, and we will remove it.

We use privacy-friendly product analytics to understand which features are used and where the product can be better. This is aggregate usage data, not a sale of your personal information.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. To make a request, email support@reeltake.app and we will help.

ReelTake is not intended for people under the age required to hold an account in your country. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
